The United Service Club, Newcastle, formed in 1927, is one of the oldest Clubs in Australia. The intent of the Club is to foster camaraderie.

 Erected in 1884, the building now housing the Club was the first Council Chambers for the Borough of Newcastle. First leasing the premises from the Council in 1931, the United Service Club went on to purchase the property in 1954. 

 For those who have an interest in military history, we have many artefacts on display throughout the club.

 The availability of a full size snooker table is an added drawcard for patrons of the club.

With period décor, our upstairs lounge offers a unique ambience for any special occasion. Our patrons have often enjoyed the camaraderie of many musical evenings held in this room.
